15 years ago, I was working in a day job that was paying my bills but
leaving me unfulfilled. I was sure that I could find something to
interest myself, earning a little more money, creating something on the
side to pay for extra things in life.I was living on each pay cheque and my credit cards. My personal debts were going through the roof and I felt completely trapped by my situation. I didn’t want to be working my backside off for little reward for the rest of my working life. One weekend when I was walking through a busy shopping centre local to my home in Sydney. I realized that most shops were selling products that were all imported from Asia. I know that there was money to be made out there. The internet was also becoming a popular tool to help people sell their products online. I wondered what would be involved in setting up a business and importing these products. I asked myself if I could make serious money importing from China and exporting from Australia. Surely big money could be made. These thoughts ran through my head as I rubbed shoulders with the crowds of people filling the shopping centre.
